My name is Mike Ellis. I started learning software development as a child during the late 90s dot com boom and have not looked back since. I have been an IT support technician, “webmaster”, web developer, software engineer, product manager, and IT Director. I have both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in software engineering. My primary skill set is .NET development and I have strengths in both JavaScript and SQL. Of course, I have worked on projects in many different languages including Python and Java.
I enjoy napping to the waves on the beaches of Eastern North Carolina, hiking the mountains of Western North Carolina, and spoiling my wild Pekingese – Coco. I read a fair bit of sci-fi and grim-dark fantasy – always interested in recommendations!
